FEAT Entrance Test Preparation for FLAME University

The FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test, popularly known as FEAT, is conducted by FLAME University for admission to its undergraduate programmes. It evaluates a student’s communication, reasoning, quantitative and general awareness skills. FEAT is an online multiple-choice examination containing 100 questions. Candidates receive 120 minutes to complete the test. It is divided into Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability and General Knowledge. The complete examination carries 140 marks.

The admission process also includes an on-the-spot essay of approximately 200–250 words to be completed in 20 minutes. Shortlisted candidates may subsequently attend an online Personal Interview.
The Verbal Ability section includes vocabulary, grammar, sentence correction, reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, para jumbles and contextual word usage. It measures a candidate’s command of English and ability to interpret written material.

Reasoning Ability may cover arrangements, sequences, analogies, coding-decoding, syllogisms, statement-based conclusions and analytical puzzles. Quantitative Ability includes arithmetic, percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, algebra, number systems, geometry, probability and data interpretation.

General Knowledge questions may cover politics, history, economics, business, science, sports, awards and current national or international events. Candidates must combine static general knowledge with regular current-affairs preparation.
Students should begin with a diagnostic test to identify their strong and weak areas. Verbal preparation should include daily reading, grammar exercises and vocabulary revision. Reading comprehension answers should be selected using information from the passage rather than personal assumptions.

For Reasoning Ability, students should practise different puzzle formats and organise the given information clearly before attempting a solution. Quantitative preparation requires concept revision, formula practice and improvement in mental calculation because calculators are not permitted.

General Knowledge preparation should include daily news reading and weekly revision. Candidates should attempt timed sectional tests and full-length mock examinations. Every test must be analysed to understand incorrect answers, weak topics and questions that consumed excessive time.

Selection may consider the FEAT or accepted SAT/ACT score, essay, online Personal Interview, previous academic performance, extracurricular achievements and Statement of Purpose. Therefore, a good entrance-test score strengthens an application but does not independently guarantee admission.
