Ashoka University follows a holistic undergraduate admission process that evaluates academic performance, personal achievements, written communication and reasoning ability. The Ashoka Aptitude Assessment, officially referred to as the AAA, is a mandatory part of this process. Successful AAA preparation begins with understanding concepts instead of memorising formulas. Students should practise different reasoning questions regularly and review every incorrect answer to identify the exact cause of the mistake.

Timed practice is essential because candidates have approximately two minutes per multiple-choice question. Essay preparation should focus on planning, structure and clarity. A strong response should include a focused introduction, logically connected paragraphs, relevant examples and a meaningful conclusion. Candidates should reserve a few minutes to check grammar, spelling and sentence flow.
